Book Review- Its Not About The Bike-Lance Armstrong

Its Not About The Bike, is an autobiography written by Lance Armstrong. Lance is a cancer survivor and a former world champion cyclist. This book encapsulates the journey of Lance Armstrong till he wins his first Tour de France title. This story is filled with hope, drama and action.
In his youth, Lance is a budding cyclist who goes on to win the World Cycling Championship in 1993. Suddenly, out of the blue, Lance finds out he has cancer. The 6 letter word is enough to scare the living daylights out of him. He thinks that his career is over.
Later on, we find the painstaking cycle in which Lance goes through severe chemotherapy cycles to properly recuperate.
Moving forward, we are shown how Lance improves his fitness and readies his body for the Tour de France.
Lance had contested the Tour de France once, even winning a stage but he is not able to complete the race. Now, with a lean and a newly built body he is determined to atleast finish the race.
The best part is adrenaline packed climax, or you can say anti climax.
Lance goes on to shock the entire world by the the Tour de France, 1999.
He later on goes to win 7 consecutive TdF titles.
